If you love the idea of carrying credit cards in your phone case, but you still want to have a slim phone case experience, the Doc Artisan Card Case may be for you. Most folio style wallet phone cases end up being pretty bulky, particularly once you have put some cards and cash inside, but the Card Case has all its card slots on the back of the phone case and is thus able to maintain an extremely slim profile. They are not the only company to come out with a case in this design, but their implementation is particularly nice. Wrapped in full grain, vegetable tanned Italian leather, this case exudes quality and is a pleasure to have in the hand. Two cards fit pretty easily in each of the two card slots, giving you a respectable card storage capacity of four. Given the slim profile of this minimal leather case, that is quite impressive.
- Excellent leather quality.
- Suede-lined phone cradle wraps your iPhone in soft luxury.
- Impressive card carrying capacity, given overall case thinness.
- Like most cases of this sort, this will provide very minimal protection in the event of a drop.
Conclusion: Overall, the Doc Artisan Card Case is quite a lovely product and will have great appeal to those case minimalists with card carrying aspirations. Available in tan, brown and black, the Card Case for iPhone 6s Plus/6 Plus retails for $50.00 and can be purchased directly from Doc Artisan. Many thanks to the kind folks at Doc Artisan for sending this case out to me to review!
